Rais Aam Message To PBNU: Keep Your Distance With All Political Parties

JAKARTA - Rais 'Aam PBNU Miftachul Akhyar reminded all nahdliyin citizens that one of the largest Islamic organizations maintains a distance from political parties (parties). Ia mengatakan, PBNU akan cukup ketat menertibkan internal mereka. Pasalnya, ketertiban menjadi modal untuk menjalankan organisasi dan meraih tujuan bersama."Oleh karena itu mohon dimaklumi manakala PBNU sedikit agak kenceng menertibkan. Penertiban terjadi di mana-mana karena kita ingin kembali menertibkan," katanya.Sementara itu, Ketua Umum PBNU Yahya Cholil Staquf mengatakan bahwa ia tidak melarang para sesepuh atau kiai untuk mendeklarasikan sikap politiknya.Tetapi ia menegaskan bahwa sikap politik yang nantinya akan diambil tidak mengatasnamakan atau membawa-bawa nama besar NU."Kalau kiai mau bersikap itu hak kiai. Tapi bukan atas nama lembaga (PBNU)," tandasnya.
