Approved By The Syuro Council, PKS Officially Promotes Anies-Cak Imin Pair In The 2024 Presidential Election

The Deliberation of the Syuro Council IX of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) approved the granting of support to the General Chairperson of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin as a future vice presidential candidate for the presidential candidate for the Coalition for amendments to Unity (KPP), Anies Baswedan.

This support is the result of a decision from the shuro assembly meeting which was held at the PKS DPP since 14.00 WIB.

This means that PKS has officially carried the Anies-Imin or Amin pair in the upcoming 2024 presidential election witnessed by the PKS and PKB DPP administrators.

PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu said the shuro assembly deliberation forum was going well, wisdom and full of togetherness. Previously, he said, PKS had received national visits from NasDem, PKB and Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar. The gathering has been reported to the council of the syuro assembly.

Syaikhu then read out five MMS decisions. First, strengthen the decision of the 8th syuro assembly deliberation that carries Anies Rasyid Baswedan as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

"Second, decide Mr. Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar as a candidate for deputy president of the Republic of Indonesia to accompany Mr. Anies Rasyid Baswedan in the 2024 presidential election," said Syaikhu when reading the decision of the syuro assembly at the PKS DPP, South Jakarta, Friday, September 15.

Third, approve and determine the Anies-Muhaimin pair as a pair of candidates for presidential and vice-presidential candidates who are officially promoted by PKS in the 2024 presidential election.

"So this at the same time dismissed public doubts," said Syaikhu.

Fourth, with Anies-Muhaimin's candidacy as a presidential and vice presidential candidate, PKS is optimistic that it can strengthen the victory based on the spirit of ukhuwah wathaniah, ukhuwah Islamiah, and ukuwah insaniah.

The five instructed all PKS administrators, members and extended families to totality and work hard to win Anies-Muhaimin as a presidential reading and vice presidential reading in the 2024 presidential election.

"I think it's a crucial thing that we decided regarding the 2024 presidential election," said Syaikhu.

In announcing support for Cak Imin, the Secretary General of NasDem Hermawi Taslim and Deputy General NasDem Ahmad Ali were also present.
