The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has checked the construction project for the provision of raw water for the Sadai Industrial Estate (KIS) in Tukak Sadai District, South Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung (Babel).

Assistant for Economics and Development of the South Bangka Regency Government, Muhson, said that the checks were carried out to ensure that the project was located in a production forest area or other use areas (APL).

"The team from the Indonesian Ministry of PUPR reviewed the location of the project construction accompanied by the Bangka Belitung Islands Prosecutor's Office and the South Bangka Kejari," he said in Toboali, Babel, Thursday, September 14, which was confiscated by Antara.

Muhson said that related to the land problems of residents affected by the impact of the development, it is hoped that it can be resolved humanely.

"This project is a strategic project and we must support it, related to the land issue for residents, it should be resolved humanely," he said.

His party is ready to facilitate the obstacles faced in the development of the strategic project.

"This is our responsibility in overseeing the public work office, even though this project is carried out by the Babel River Basin Center," he said.

He hopes that the people affected by the development can support the development of this raw water supply because of its benefits for many communities.

"Let's solve this problem by sitting together and looking for the best solution," he concluded.
