Female Prosecutors Allegedly Received Bribery Money For Drug Cases Deactivated By Riau Prosecutor's Office

The Riau High Prosecutor's Office has disabled a female prosecutor with the initials SH who is suspected of receiving bribes related to the handling of narcotics cases he handled at the Bengkalis District Attorney.

Head of the Legal Information and Public Relations Section of the Riau Prosecutor's Office, Bambang Heripurwanto, said that after being relieved of his duties, SH was handed over to the Special Crime Division of the Riau Prosecutor's Office to undergo legal proceedings.

"Based on the results of the case inspection from the Riau Prosecutor's Office of Supervision, SH, it is indicated that the alleged bribery. The Riau Prosecutor's Office of Supervision submitted the results of the examination of the case to the Special Crimes Division of the Riau Prosecutor's Office for legal processing," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 13.

The Riau Prosecutor's Office Pidsus Division will investigate the results of the investigation of the case by examining SH and other related parties. This was done to collect evidence, whether the alleged indication of bribery against SH was true or not.

Before the results of the SH case inspection were submitted to the Pidsus sector, previously Kajati Riau had transferred SH to the Riau Prosecutor's Office for guidance but was relieved of his duties from office work. This is to facilitate and expedite the inspection process.

Previously reported, the case was uncovered starting from public information about an outside party suspected of committing a disgraceful act related to a case handled by the Prosecutor's Office.

After the investigation, it turned out that the case was handled by the prosecutor with the initials SH from the Bengkalis Kejari. Then SH was secured by the Riau High Prosecutor's Organizational Resources (SDO) Security Team (Kejati) at Sultan Syarif Kasim Airport (SSK) II Pekanbaru, Thursday (4/5).

Furthermore, the SDO PAM Team handed over SH to the Riau Prosecutor's Office of Supervision. There, the clarification process was carried out to ensure the truth of the report.
