JAKARTA - Commission II of the DPR approved the budget allocation ceiling of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) in 2024 of IDR 7.33 trillion.

Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the DPR Saan Mustopa said the previous Indicative Budget ceiling of the Ministry of ATR/BPN was IDR 7.183 trillion. Then, the Ministry of ATR/BPN proposed an additional budget of IDR 4.143 trillion.

"Thus, the budget allocation ceiling for the Ministry of ATR/BPN in 2024 will be IDR 7,332,306,544,000," said Saan Mustopa at the Commission II Working Meeting of the DPR with the Ministry of ATR/BPN reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 12.

Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Hadi Tjahjanto explained that the budget allocation was used for management support programs of IDR 4.416 trillion, management and service programs of IDR 2.804 trillion, and spatial planning programs of IDR 112 billion.

The budget allocation will be used for ATR/BPN priority plans, such as digitizing land documents, accelerating the fulfillment of the Forest Area Boundary Length Map, accelerating land registration, agrarian reform, and land acquisition for the public interest.

"Furthermore, the management of quality use of land and space control, resolution of conflicts and land disputes, acceleration of RDTR, bureaucratic reform and development of STPN," said Hadi.

Meanwhile, additional proposals will be used for Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL), complete Spatial Planning and Spatial Planning.

Hadi said, in 2023 the budget ceiling of the Ministry of ATR/BPN is IDR 7.75 trillion, where the allocation of management support is IDR 4.76 trillion, land management and services is IDR 2.65 trillion, and the arrangement of space is IDR 341.18 billion.
