Silence About The Reason Why the Indonesian Citizen Disappeared In Los Angeles Found Healthy, Ministry Of Foreign Affairs: Not Criminality

JAKARTA - Yudi Saputra (YS), an Indonesian citizen (WNI) in Los Angeles, United States (US), who was reported missing, was found by his family. Yudi had no news of being missing for a week.

Director of Protection for Indonesian Citizens and Indonesian Legal Entities (BHI) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu) Judha Nugraha said that Yudi was found in healthy and safe condition.

"After conducting an in-depth investigation, YS's disappearance is not related to criminal acts," said Judha via short message, Monday, September 11, reported by Antara.

However, Judha did not reveal the reason why the Indonesian citizen had been missing for that long.

He added that the family, accompanied by the Indonesian Consulate General in Los Angeles, would withdraw their report to the Los Angeles Police (LAPD) so that the case of Yudi's disappearance was declared closed.

Previously, Yudi, who is a student at California International University, was reported missing since August 31, 2023.

Yudi is known to work part-time as a driver for the food delivery service Uber Eats. He lives in LA with his wife and son.
