BONE BOLANGO - A joint team from several government agencies investigated the cause of death of a number of wildlife in the Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park (TNBNW) area, which is located in the Provinces of Gorontalo and North Sulawesi.

Head of the TNBNW Center Anis Suratin said that information regarding the death of wild animals in the national park area and its surroundings had been received since August 29, 2023.
"Until now, there have been findings of nine carcasses of forest boars of the type of Sus Celebnesis in nine locations inside and outside the TNBNW area," said Anis, Monday, September 11.
Wild boar carcasses were reportedly found in six locations outside the national park area and three locations within the national park area.
The location of the discovery of wild boar carcasses is in the areas of Bangio Village and Green Plain in Pinogu District and Tulabolo Village in East Suwawa District in Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province.
Anis said that officers had taken samples from two wild boar carcasses found in the national park area and its surroundings to be examined at the Maros Veterinary Center.
