Already Spread In 32 Districts, The Number Of Marriage Penghulu In Cianjur Does Not Experience Crisis

CIANJUR - Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) Cianjur Regency, West Java, stated that there is no shortage of functional personnel for marriage. Currently, the number of officials is 101 people and spread across 32 sub-districts in Cianjur. Head of Islamic Guidance at the Ministry of Religion Cianjur Asep Khaerul Mu'min said, Cianjur did not experience a marriage crisis like in other regions in Indonesia because the number was still adequate in each sub-district. "Of the hundreds of marriage officials in Cianjur, only a few people will soon enter retirement, while the rest are still new and their term of office is still long," he said in Cianjur, Antara, Wednesday, September 6. In addition, his party did not lack because there was only the appointment of honorary employees who are currently Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) within the Cianjur Ministry of Religion. It is recorded that 28 penghulu with the status of P3K have received a Decree (SK) as of August 15, 2023 and have carried out their duties in each sub-district starting from the north to the south of Cianjur. "If the number is sufficient, so we do not experience shortcomings like in other areas where they say they are experiencing a marriage crisis," he said. Meanwhile, the services provided by the head of marriage in Cianjur include providing various marriage guidance for prospective brides according to the instructions of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, one of which is to reduce the number of stunting cases.

"We require the bride and groom to follow the Marriage Guidance (Bimwin), one of which is information related to stunting that must be obtained by the bride and groom," he said.
