NasDem Receives PKS And PKB Visits This Afternoon, Discuss Anies-Cak Imin Winning Team?

JAKARTA - The NasDem Party will receive PKS and PKB visits at NasDem Tower, Wednesday, September 6, this afternoon. The meeting which was scheduled at 14.00 WIB was to discuss the political dynamics towards the 2024 presidential election. This is also the first meeting of political parties supporting Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin since it was declared as a presidential and vice presidential candidate pair. Previously, NasDem Party DPP chairman Effendy Choirie or Gus Choi, had said that parties in the Anies-Cak Imin coalition would soon hold a meeting to discuss coalition steps in the future. "So we will hold a coalition meeting to discuss what steps we will take," said Gus Choi at NasDem Tower, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, September 5. Later, Gus Choi said, in the meeting will also discuss the formation of the winning team Anies and Cak Imin which formulated consolidation socialization. "Of course, the next most important step we form a team, the team will formulate the socialization of consolidation to convey this is our partner, the vision and mission, we will do this," he explained. Gus Choi does not want to reveal who will be members in the Anies-Cak Imin winning team. "Not yet (names, ed) in the short of time, God willing, there will be a meeting. But I cannot convey the technicality," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding PKS, Gus Choi admitted that he could not confirm whether the party headed by Ahmad Syaikhu would also be included in it or not. Because he said, PKS is still waiting for the decision of the syuro assembly. "Why is there no PKS? Yes, because PKS has not yet had a shuro council meeting. After they decided, it was only temporarily the two of us (NasDem and PKB)," he concluded.
