JAKARTA - The National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) has allocated a budget of around Rp. 110 billion for cyberspace security and the electronic system for the 2024 General Election.

He explained that the budget allocation was also included in buying supporting and operational devices for BSSN members in carrying out security for the 2024 General Election.
"Because in some KPUs we will place personnel to secure their systems," he said.
Hinsa said that BSSN has carried out election security starting in 2023, namely by forming an Election Task Force (Satgas).
"We have formed the Task Force and have been together with the KPU since January 2023 until now," he said.
Hinsa hopes that budget support for the smooth implementation of BSSN's duties in securing cyberspace for the 2024 General Election.
At the beginning, he explained that the BSSN budget ceiling for Fiscal Year 2024 was based on the Joint Letter of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas dated July 31, 2023, amounting to Rp771.77 billion.
