He said that this means that the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) gives authority or authority to the campus in order to design the final task. "This is not easy for universities to change quickly," he said. According to him, whether it is a prototype or project must be prepared together. "I have asked the team at the Education Quality Guarantee Institute to design, given a maximum time of one year. Indeed, the thesis is not only mandatory, but does not mean that without a thesis can pass," he said.

According to him, actually at UNS there is a policy, namely students are not required to graduate as a condition for graduation. "For example, those who won the scientific week of students. For example, in groups, they have graduated. We have done that. In FKIP (Fulty of Teachers and Education) in certain programs, there is no thesis," he said. Meanwhile, related to this policy, according to him, the meaning is to provide opportunities for universities to innovate or be creative in providing standardization of graduates or output.
