JAKATRTA - Polda Metro Jaya held raids on vehicle emission tests at a number of points, Friday, September 1. As a result, 66 two- and four-wheeled vehicles were declared unsuccessful and ticketed.

"There are 33 four-wheeled vehicles that did not pass the emission test or 15 percent," he said.

Meanwhile, for two-wheeled vehicles, 190 vehicles were declared to have passed. Meanwhile, 33 others were dealt with in the form of ticketing.

"There are 33 or 15 percent of the motorbikes that are prosecuted with a ticket," said Doni.

Meanwhile, the first day of the implementation of the emission test ticket was held at five points, namely on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, East Jakarta; Jalan RE Martadinata, North Jakarta; Taman Anggrek, West Jakarta; Blok M Terminal, South Jakarta; and Jalan Asia Afrika, Central Jakarta.

Vehicles that do not pass the emission test will be subject to fines in the form of fines ranging from Rp. 250 thousand to Rp. 500 thousand. For 2-wheeled vehicles, a fine of Rp. 250 thousand is imposed. Meanwhile, 4-wheeled vehicles amounted to Rp. 500 thousand.
