PSI Alludes To Political Parties Affected By Anies-Cak Imin Duet: That's Why Ojo Kesusu!

JAKARTA - PSI Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees Grace Natalie alluded to the political parties affected by the NasDem-PKB political cooperation that carried the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin duo. Grace corrected the move with the recommendation of "objo kesusu".

Initially Grace highlighted the proposal letter to be a companion to the 2024 presidential election which was written by the presidential candidate Anies Baswedan for the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono alias AHY.

"Those who have proposed to use a handwritten letter, can suddenly corner and leave," Grace said in her X account, Friday, September 1.

Then the spotlight was focused on the Chairman of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin who had declared his support for Ketum Gerindra Prabowo Subianto. But suddenly, Cak Imin turned into a vice presidential candidate to accompany Anies who was clearly different coalitions.

"Those who have participated in the declaration of support for the presidential candidate can suddenly become vice presidential candidates from other presidential candidates," said Grace.

According to Grace, the political map facing the 2024 General Election is still moving. "Well, that's how it is, the situation is still disbursing," he added.

Therefore, said Grace, her political parties are still observing political dynamics by not rushing to establish adjek political cooperation with other political parties participating in the 2024 General Election.

"That's why ojo is in a hurry. Don't rush. Let's look forward to the next surprise," he said.

Previously, the Coalition for Amendments to the Unity (KPP) formed by NasDem, Democrats and PKS agreed to carry Anies Baswedan as the 2024 Presidential Candidate. The name of the vice presidential candidate accompanying Anies then narrowed to AHY.

However, without the Democrats' approval, Anies was then paired with Cak Imin. Disappointed Democrats said the investigation was a form of betrayal of the Coalition Charter that had been agreed upon by the three political parties belonging to the KKP.

Secretary-General of the Democratic Party, Teuku Riefky Harsya, said that the Anies-Cak Imin duo was carried out without involving Democrats. Teuku revealed the decision at the initiative of the Nasdem Chairman, Surya Paloh.

Responding to this, the Democrats will hold a meeting of the Party High Council at the residence of the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) at Puri Cikeas, Bogor, West Java, Friday, September 1. As a result, the Democrats officially revoked their support for Anies Baswedan's presidential candidate as well as leaving the KPP.

The decision was conveyed by the Secretary of the High Council of the Democratic Party Andi Alfian Mallarangeng who announced the two points of the Party High Council results after the meeting.

"After the meeting, the Party's High Council decided as follows; firstly, the Democratic Party revoked support for Anies Baswedan as a (bakal) presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election. Second, the Democratic Party is no longer in the Coalition for Amendments to Unity (KPP) because there has been an expansion of the agreement that has been built so far," said Andi Mallarangeng.
