'I Was Called By Mother And Spiritual Teacher To Pair With AHY,' That's What Anies Said When Other Political Parties Closed To The Democrats

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the Democratic Party as well as Member of Team 8 Teuku Riefky Harsya opened an old story about the strong intention of Nasdem's presidential candidate, Anies Baswedan to collaborate with Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) as Vice Presidential Candidate. This was conveyed by Teuku Riefky in response to a unilateral decision by NasDem which paired Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar, Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) as Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates. At that time, the Coalition for Change for Improvement (KPP) had been formed, filled by the Democratic Party, NasDem, and PKS. There is a coalition leader containing six pieces of agreement and signed by each chairman of the political party. The first agreement regarding names is the Coalition for Amendments to Unity. The second agreement carries Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate and third, the presidential candidate is given the mandate to determine the Vice Presidential Candidate with predetermined criteria. Furthermore, the fourth agreement, in the not too distant future, the presidential-vice presidential candidate pair was declared. Fifth, the presidential candidate is given the flexibility to expand political support and finally to implement the KPP decision, formed by the secretariat. This coalition charter, continued Teuku Riefky, is based on the principles of justice and equality.
