JAKARTA - The government of the Republic of Indonesia is again trusted to be the organizer of the 43rd ASEAN Summit. The Directorate of Information and Communication of the Economy and Maritime Affairs, in this case, the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) is believed to be the chairman of the Indonesian Chairship committee which will take place in Jakarta on September 5-7, 2023.

Usman Kansong, Director General of Information and Public Communication, explained that Kominfo has played a vital role in ensuring the effectiveness of the socialization of the 43rd ASEAN Summit to the wider community. This is due to the holding of dialogue and community active involvement in the "ASEAN Music Rumbling" event. Various speakers will attend, including the attractive appearance of Dikta Wicaksono, Idgitaf, as well as the appearance of the Tinikling Dance from the Philippines.

"This activity has the main goal of increasing public understanding of the benefits of Indonesia's Chairship in ASEAN in 2023. In addition, it is an encouragement for the public to actively participate in supporting the success of Indonesia's Chairmanship in ASEAN in 2023, including the 43rd ASEAN Summit," explained Usman, in his statement, Wednesday, August 31.

Septriana Tangkary, Director of Information and Communication of the Economy and Maritime Affairs, Kominfo explained that the socialization of the ASEAN Indonesia Summit 2023: ASEAN Music Rumble was held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in Sarinah, Jl. MH Thamrin No. 11, Central Jakarta. This event started at 18.30 WIB and lasted until it was finished with very high enthusiasm.

His party also continues to strive to convey key messages, objectives, and benefits from this summit through various communication channels, as well as social media, press conferences, and cooperation with the mass media. Including the ASEAN Music Rumbling event last night.

"One of the main focuses of Kominfo is to increase the understanding and participation of the younger generation regarding ASEAN and Indonesia's role in it. This effort is realized through education campaigns, online discussions, and creative content creation that are relevant to youth," said Septriana.
