Tulungagung Regency Government Proposes Compensation For Regional Asset Loss Affected By Toll Projects

TULUNGAGUNG - Tulungagung Regency Government, East Java submitted a request for compensation for regional assets in the form of land and buildings affected by the Kediri-Tulungagung toll road project, because it is functional.

"We have submitted the request to the PPK (Commitment Making Officer) of the Kediri-Tulungagung Toll Project. Hopefully it will be followed up," said Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Tulungagung Regency, Galih Nusantoro, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 30.

The assets that will be affected by the toll road project are said to be functional. The two assets of the district government that are included in the Kediri-Tulungagung toll road design are rice fields in Kutoanyar Village and the Gedangan auxiliary health center (Pustu) in Karangrejo District.

The affected area of land for regional assets is around 140 square meters. Although it is not wide and the nila is estimated to be below Rp. 1 billion, the two assets are important for the community.

Rice fields in Kutoanyar, for example, are used to pay for village equipment incentives. Meanwhile, Pustu Gedangan has so far been used for health services for residents around Gedangan Village.

Galih revealed, in a previous coordination meeting, the Kediri-Tulungagung Toll Road Project PPK had said that the state land affected or affected by the toll road project may not receive compensation, unless the country's land is functional.

"Our petition and objections are currently being discussed by the toll road PPK. They (PPK) consider the land (tulungagung Regency Government assets) to be state land that should not receive compensation. That is according to the PPK," he said.

As for Pustu Gedangan, it will be moved to other land assets of the Tulungagung Regency Government. "For those whose assets are currently also being reviewed for the amount of compensation by the toll road PPK. The plan is for the transfer not to wait for the disbursement of compensation because it involves services to the community," he said.

This BPKAD Tulungagung step received the support of the local DPRD. This is as conveyed by the Chairman of Commission C of the Tulungagung DPRD, Asrori, who assessed that every inch of land affected by the toll road project should receive compensation from the government, including regional assets.

"We take care of it and encourage the affected regional assets to get compensation," said Asrori.
