The South Lampung Police in Lampung Province inspected the simultaneous Pilkades logistics storage area at the local Village Community Empowerment Office, ensuring the preparation of the democratic party was safe and democratic. South Lampung Police Chief AKBP Yusriandi Yusri said checking all the logistics from ballot booths to ATK for equipment for the implementation of the second wave of simultaneous village head elections in 2023. "We just have to wait for the ballot and we make sure that in the near future we can push this facility to the sub-district. So, sub-districts and villages can immediately prepare everything that will be used," he said in a written statement in Kalida, South Lampung Regency, Antara, Tuesday, August 29. The preparations for the simultaneous Pilkades which will be held on August 31 will be observed to be close to 100 percent. The police, he said, continue to oversee and secure the distribution of logistics for the Pilkades which will be held throughout South Lampung Regency. "We have prepared personnel. Whether it (distribution) from PMD, District, Village and archipelago, we have formed a team and personnel to secure the shift of facilities and infrastructure for simultaneous Pilkades," he said. He appealed to the committee to be able to prepare a special place so that there would be no damage, because the logistics of this item is flammable or wet. "For this, we will make sure again that the existing facilities must be better maintained in order to avoid fires and rain that causes logistics to be damaged, until later voting and vote count," he said. He invited all candidates for village heads and supporters of village heads and the community to jointly succeed in the upcoming 2023 Pilkades. "God willing, hopefully this simultaneous Pilkades activity can run successfully, peacefully and smoothly. We really ask for support from all parties," he said again.

Meanwhile, the Head of the South Lampung Regency PMD Office, Erdiyansyah, said that the logistics of the Simultaneous Village Head Elections are scheduled to start distributing today. "So, we are trying to send logistics today. We ask, provide a safe storage area so that logistics are maintained and not damaged. This will be distributed to the sub-district, so the village will take it there. Especially for ballot boxes and ballots, the fastest D-1 voting day is taken," he said.
