GUNUNGKIDUL - The Gunungkidul Regency Tourism Office, Yogyakarta Special Region, together with the Search and Rescue Team of the local Community Protection Unit are on standby to face the appearance of seamen along the southern coast in this area to anticipate injuring tourists.

Head of the Gunungkidul Tourism Office, Oneng Windu Wardhana, said that based on information from the Satlinmas SAR, at Parangtritis Beach, Bantul Regency, visitors were stung by nodes.

"We anticipate it by preparing members of the Satlinmas SAR on each beach by preparing a drug in the form of vinegar," said Oneng Windu, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 28.

He also appealed to tourists to be careful when playing in coastal waters.

"We are ready for the appearance of thisANGur," he said.

The SAR Coordinator of the Gunungkidul Marjono Satlinmas Region II said the appearance of nodes this time tended to be minimal.

"This time there are fewer than last year, only 1-2 were monitored," he said.

According to Marjono, last July's rainfall also had an effect. This makes the bowls or commonly called impes that appear on the surface of the sea decrease.

Even so, he still asked tourists on the southern coast of Gunungkidul to remain vigilant. The reason is, the potential for the appearance of seafarers or commonly called impes is still there.

"Moreover, at the end of August, it is likely that the temperature will be cooler, usuallyappropriates can appear until mid-September," said Marjono.

The appearance of airmen in the dry season is caused by cold temperatures in the southern waters. These animals are also looking for warmer areas to survive.

These marine animals are shaped like blue bubbles. Tourists are asked not to touch these animals if they are found. Because under the bubble there is a pungent that can sting.

"If you get a sting, the skin feels hot and even shortness of breath if it is handled late," said Marjono.
