Surakarta Mayor (Walkot) Gibran Rakabuming Raka asked not all activities he carried out were related to the campaign. Including campaign accusations during the agenda of watching the AFF U23 Indonesia Cup final against Vietnam in front of the Surakarta City Hall recently. According to Gibran, this is only a community activity.

According to him, the activity aims to move the community's economy.

"Next time if there is an event I will tell all visitors there is no need to nominate Gibran. It's easy to, but my event is still running. The important thing is that those who sell ice tests, rolled eggs, cilok are still crowded. I think it's okay (I don't have to think about it)," he said.

He asked all parties not to hinder every activity that aims to move the community's economy.

"It's all (done, ed.) for our MSMEs, let's go," he said.

According to him, if this activity is linked to an attractive vote strategy ahead of the political year, then it would not be appropriate if it was carried out in Solo.

"What's the voice, if you want to withdraw your voice, it's not in Solo. In Solo, my voice is already high (the voter, ed.). Do you want Solo to be as quiet as it used to be," he said.

Meanwhile, despite accusations of a campaign on the sidelines of community activities, he is determined that he will still hold various agendas.

"This is my commitment. Everyone is happy, everything is free, the parking lot is crowded, the hotel is crowded, the plane is crowded. If you don't like it, I'm okay," he said.
