Hard Water Generates Fire, Expeditionary Warehouse Fire In Tanjung Priok Loses IDR 1 Billion

The fire that hit the expedition warehouse on Jalan Yos Sudarso, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, is suspected to have triggered hard water.

The fire that occurred at midnight was successfully extinguished.

"The object affected by the expedition warehouse with J&T, Shopee, and Anteraja," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Isnawa Adji to reporters, Sunday, August 27.

Isnama said the warehouse caught fire on Sunday, August 27 at around 00.01 WIB. A total of 16 fire engines were deployed to deal with the fire.

In the blackout process, 1 TRC BPBD unit was also dispatched, 1 unit of PLN Pondok Kopi Command Post, 1 PMI unit, 1 AGD Health Office unit, 1 Dishub unit, 1 Satpol PP unit, PSKB/Tagana Social Service personnel, Polsek personnel and Koramil personnel.

Isnama said the loss due to the fire in the expedition warehouse was estimated at IDR 1 billion. Meanwhile, the death toll was injured and died in this incident was nil.

"The procurement will be completed at 04.17 WIB," he said.
