ASEAN Summit, DKI Provincial Government Implements WFH ASN 50 Percent Starting August 28-7 September

JAKARTA - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta applies a work from home (WFH) policy of 50 percent capacity for state civil servants (ASN) and distance learning (PJJ) from August 28 to September 7.

Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono said the WFH and PJJ policies were in line with the holding of the 43rd ASEAN Summit.

"Especially for our summit, I will start if DKI asks the Regional Secretary to start testing on August 28 to enter (WFH and WFO) namely good luck percent," Heru said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 15.

In addition to WFH, the DKI Provincial Government has also implemented distance learning (PJJ) for students who study in the capital, which is 50 percent of PJJ and 50 percent of them are participating in offline learning in schools.

"Regarding the ASEAN Summit, the DKI Regional Government will have employees WFH and WFO 50 percent-50 percent. The school will also be the same," said Heru.

Meanwhile, for private employees, the WFH policy is only an appeal.

Previously, Heru said that the implementation of the work from home (WFH) policy during the implementation of the 43rd ASEAN Summit for private employees depends on the policy of the company owner.

"Later, for the private appeal, please owners (companies) of each (who decide)," Heru said when confirmed in Jakarta, Thursday.
