Iriana Receives Honorary Signs? Jokowi: Please Ask The Title Council

President Joko Widodo conferred the Honorary Sign of the Star of the Republic of Indonesia Adipradana to First Lady Iriana Jokowi (ANTARA)

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) revealed that the Council of Titles, Services, and Honorary Signs has criteria and considerations to give a sign of honor to his wife Iriana Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"Everything from, all submitted, and based on the considerations of the title council and honors," said Jokowi after the handover of the Honorary Certificate at the State Palace, Jakarta, quoted by ANTARA Monday, August 14.

On that basis, President Jokowi asked all questions regarding the reasons for giving the honorary sign to Iriana to be submitted to the Council for Titles, Services, and Honors.

"Yes, just ask the title council, ask the title council," he said.

President Jokowi at the State Palace, Jakarta, this Monday, gave Honorary Certificates to 18 figures, including First Lady Iriana Jokowi who received the Honorary Signs of the Stars of the Republic of Indonesia Adipradana and Wury Estu Handayani, Wife of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ma' ruf Amin who received the Honorary Sign of Mahaputera Star Adipradana.

The awarding of honors is in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 66, 67, 68, 69 / TK / 2023 concerning the Awarding of Honorary Stars of the Republic of Indonesia Adipradana, Bintang Mahaputera, Bintang Jasa, and Bintang Budaya Paramadharma.

Apart from Iriana and Wury Estu, President Jokowi also gave an Honorary Certificate, namely Mahaputera Adipradana Star to Sukma Violetta, Member of the Indonesian Judicial Commission - Chair of the Prevention and Capacity Improvement Division of Judges; and Saldi Isra, Deputy Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court.

Then, Jokowi also conferred the Honorary Sign of the Mahaputera Utama Star to Joko Sasmito, Member of the Indonesian Judicial Commission - Head of the Judicial and Investigation Supervision Division.

Furthermore, President Jokowi also gave a Honorary Sign of Mahaputera Pratama Star to Komjen Pol (Ret.) Dr. Boy Rafli Amar, Head of BNPT;. Honorary Sign of Mahaputera Star Nararya to Wishnutama Kusubandio, an art activist.

For the Honorary Service Star, President Jokowi conferred the Main Service Star to Sumartoyo, Member of the Indonesian Judicial Commission - Head of Human Resources, Advocacy, Law, Research and Development (Periode 2015 - 2020); Makarim Wibisono, MA, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Environment and Forestry for International Cooperation; Gde Ngurah's son Ari Dwipayana, Presidential Special Staff; Sukardi Rinakit, Presidential Special Staff; and Olly Dondokambey, Governor of North Sulawesi.

After that, President Jokowi awarded Pratama Service Star Honorary Signs to Soehardjono Sastromihardjo, Ambassador Permanent Representative of the Republic of Indonesia UNEP and UN Habitat (2016 - 2020 Period), Sudharto Prawoto Hadi, Professor of Environmental Management at Diponegoro University as Chair of the LHK Ministry's ProPER Council; Edvin Aldrian, Main Expert Researcher, Center for Climate and Atmospheric Research, National Research and Innovation Agency.

Meanwhile, for the Honorary Sign of the Nararya Service Star, President Jokowi gave the heirs of the late Drs. Ki Mohamad Amir Sutaarga, a Museuman Expert.

As for the Honorary Sign of Parama Dharma Culture Star, President Jokowi gave an honorary sign to the Heir of the Late Tjokorda Gde Agung Sukawati, Culturalist; and Heir Expert of the Late Kanjeng Gusti Pangeran Haryo Djojokusumo, Artists of Culture and Education
