JAKARTA - Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) Yasonna H Laoly admitted that he was still waiting for the execution of the prosecutor regarding the plan to transfer Ferdy Sambo from Mako Brimob to a correctional institution (lapas) after the Supreme Court (MA) decision at the cassation level.
"Not yet (relocation) we will see later what the place is, later I will consult the director General (correction)," said Yasonna on the sidelines of the Bali Process, Government Forum and Business Actors (GABF) in Sanur, Denpasar, Bali, Thursday 10 August, confiscated by Antara.
He admitted that there had been no follow-up from the prosecutor after the Supreme Court ruled that the verdict would be lighter for Ferdy Sambo.
On the other hand, Yasonna respects the decision at the Supreme Court cassation level regarding the latest verdict of the former Head of the Propam Police Division.
"The sentence is for life and we respect this court decision (cassation), we are just waiting for the execution of the prosecutor," he said.
He also has not confirmed the location of the correctional institution that Ferdy Sambo will live in after the new verdict.
