Haidar's Attorney Gives Response To Allegations Of Embezzlement Of IDR 1.7 Billion

JAKARTA - In connection with news in online media regarding the alleged embezzlement of goods worth IDR 1.7 billion reported by Ivander as the online seller for Vanderism to the East Jakarta Police, the Legal Team from WLP Law Firm representing Haidar stated that the incident was not true and was not in accordance with the actual legal facts.

Haistar's legal team, represented by Wardaniman Larosa, confirmed that a man with the initials TKH had nothing to do with legal issues between Haistar and Ivander.

"The conflict experienced by the Vanderism seller is actually only related to Haidar as a warehousing service provider and has nothing to do with other parties," he said in Jakarta, Wednesday, August 9.

Warda also explained the chronology of problems from Haidar's side.

"In connection with the operational closure carried out by Haidar in August 2022, our client has sent a notification in the form of an official letter to all customers, in this case online sellers related to the return of goods because Gudang Haistar will close its operations. Our client has also informed that there is a transition period of 30 days since the notification letter for the operational closure of Haidar was sent to the seller to collect the items that were deposited. If more than 30 days were not taken by the seller, Haistar has also confirmed that the goods will be sent to the seller's address according to customer data. "explained Warda.

Haidar also added that until the official warehouse operation was closed, there were several unpaid Vanderism obligations to Haidar.

In addition, related to a report filed by the Vandarism seller, Haidar stated that his party was willing to prove that the embezzlement claim was not true.

"For claims of embezzlement of goods worth IDR 1.7 billion, we are ready to accompany Haidar and follow the applicable legal process to be able to prove the claim is not true and it is possible that we will take firm and measurable legal steps against the legal issue above," added Warda.
