Allegedly Selling Illegal Drugs, Police Arrest 8 Shop Owners In Tangerang

TANGERANG - Police arrested 8 shop owners who sold illegal drugs without a distribution permit.

The eight people had the initials FR (24), IR (26), SY (28), IM (32), MR (33), SR (21), S (21) and F(37).

"We have secured the alleged owner and seller of the dangerous drug," Tangerang City Metro Police Narcotics Head AKBP Farlin Lonban Toruan said in his statement, Wednesday, August 9.

This disclosure began with a public report to call center 110 regarding the sale of dangerous cosmetic drugs.

On that basis, the police followed up and carried out raids until finally 8 perpetrators were arrested along with thousands of evidence of illegal drugs that were included in list G.

"We will follow up on the slightest information from the public, of course by conducting investigations and investigations," he said.

The eight people arrested have been named suspects. They were charged with Article 196 in conjunction with Article 98 Paragraph 2 subsidiary Article 197 in conjunction with Article 106 of Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health with a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.
