After Geruduk Medan Polrestabes, Major Dedi Hasibuan Was Detained By The TNI Puspom

The TNI Military Police Center (Puspom) has decided to detain Major Chk Dedi Hasibuan. The detention was the result of the Medan Police Headquarters (Mapolrestabes) raiding a few days ago. Currently, Dedi's investigation is still ongoing.

"He has been arrested. The suspect must be under investigation, investigation. Also like yesterday's case, suddenly the suspect without any legal process. Enforce the law, but don't violate the law," said Head of the TNI Laksda TNI Julius Widjojono in his statement, Tuesday, August 8.

Even so, Julius has not detailed whether Dedi's violation, including whether there is an alleged criminal offense or not. "It's still a process (of examination)," explained Julius.

Previously, a number of TNI members visited the Medan Police Headquarters. It is suspected that he came to intervene in law. The group was led by Major Dedi Hasibuan.

Kapuspen TNI Admiral TNI Julius Widjojono said the Kodam I/Bukti Barisan (Kodam I/BB) was investigating this incident. As a regional unit, Kodam I/Bukit Barisan will resolve this case.

"It's still being investigated by Kodam I BB. Regional problems, so that it can be resolved according to the realm," said Julius in his statement, Tuesday, August 8.

Meanwhile, Kapendam I/BB Colonel Rico Siagian confirmed that a member had visited the Medan Police Satreskrim.

Rico said that Dedi's arrival was to meet the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Medan Polrestabes Kompol Teuku Fathir Mustafa. Dedi wants to discuss the suspension of his family's detention with the initials ARH, a suspect in falsifying land certificate signatures.

"The point is from Major Dedi wants to ask where the letter of suspension they have made has reached. Well, after it was explained, they understood that the letter was only received today at around 14.00 WIB," said Rico.
