Unloading Fire Refugee Tents Kapuk Muara, Jakut Walkot: More Than A Week There Is Not Healthy

North Jakarta Mayor Ali Maulana Hakim said his party had dismantled refugee tents for residents affected by the fire in Kapuk Muara, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

"In Kapuk Muara, the evacuation tents have been dismantled because the evacuation is a week old. More than that, it is not healthy there," said Ali at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, August 7.

On average, said Ali, residents of fire victims who occurred on Sunday, July 30, now live in rented houses. Even though the refugee camps have been demolished, Ali emphasized that the government continues to open population services for residents' documents that have been burned down by fire.

"Keep the service for it to run, for example, if the identity card is a family card, ID card, or everything that is burned, it is while walking directly served in the village," he said.

Likewise with health services. Fire victims are still receiving treatment at the local health center. The Jakut City Government is also recording students whose residences were affected by the red rooster.

"The school children have been recorded, especially at SD 03 Kapuk muara it has been recorded, has been facilitated for schools again, including training for assistance for school needs," Ali explained.

A great fire broke out on Jalan Vikamas Selatan, Kapuk Muara Village, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta, Sunday, July 30. A total of 400 houses were affected by the fire, some of which were destroyed.

From the records of the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), at least 200 families or 1,109 residents were forced to evacuate in refugee tents located on Jalan Kapuk Utara 2 for the time being, their houses were affected by the fire.
