Depraved Neighbor, A Young Boy in Sukabumi Raped a Toddler Girl

SUKABUMI - Personnel from the Women's and Children's Protection Unit (PPA) Satreskrim Sukabumi City Police arrested a young man with the initials MR (25) for allegedly raping or forcing a woman who was still a toddler.

"We arrested the suspect at his house in Babakan Village, Cibeureum District, Sukabumi City, West Java on Tuesday last week," said Sukabumi City Police Chief AKBP Ari Setyawan Wibowo, Monday, August 7.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sukabumi City Police, AKP Yanto Sudiarto, said that the disclosure of the alleged forced rape case against the 4-year-old toddler girl started with reports from the victim's parents.

Where the victim's child confessed to her parents after seeing the suspect's social media profile photo. The victim innocently recognized and admitted that she had experienced something indecent done by the perpetrator while sleeping in a chair.

Furious with the actions of the young man who was still his neighbor, the victim's parents then reported the incident to the Sukabumi City Police PPA Unit which was later developed and succeeded in arresting MR at his home without putting up a fight around 07.00 WIB.

Until now, the suspect is still living in the Sukabumi City Police Headquarters prison cell for the purposes of investigation. In addition, his party is still developing this case to reveal the main motive.

"We are still investigating the motive and we are still examining the perpetrator. To find out, the alleged perpetrator is a neighbor of the victim," he said.

Yanto said the suspect was charged with Article 82 of UURI Number 17 of 2016 concerning the Stipulation of Government Regulation in lieu of RI Law Number 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to RI Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection to become a Law with a minimum prison sentence of 5 years or a maximum of 15 years.
