Police Sterilize Sadang Serang Market Area For TKP Process

The police are trying to sterilize the area around Sadang Serang Market, Bandung, after it caught fire. The police will conduct a crime scene (TKP).

One police officer carrying a loudspeaker asked residents who were crowding around the terminal and back of the market to stay away and even go home to make it easier for officers.

"Please those who have no interest immediately return home, because this place will apply the status quo for the purposes of processing the crime scene," the officer said, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, August 4.

It was seen that only kiosk owners were allowed to approach the location of the fire.

At around 21.00 WIB, it was seen that the fire had been extinguished and left thick smoke. Fire and Disaster Management Service (Diskar PB) officers are still at the location to carry out the cooling process.

Reportedly the fire that occurred at around 18.00 WIB, scorched most of the traditional market buildings consisting of 460 Loss market.

The fire itself is thought to have started from Los market which is in the wet market (channels and meat) which is close to temporary trash cans and has quickly grown to other parts of the market.

"The cause cannot be ascertained, it is still being investigated," said Bandung City PB Secretary Iwan Rusmawan at the location.
