BENGKULU - AJ (45), the parents of PDM (16) have been named suspects in the persecution of Zaharman (58), a teacher at SMAN 7 Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu. The suspect is currently being chased by the police.

The head of the Padang Ulak Tanding Police, Inspector Pol Satu Hengky Noprianto, said that AJ's whereabouts were detected in his jurisdiction. However, the suspect always moves so he has not been arrested.

Hengky said that the investigation into the abuse case involving the parents of this student caused teaching and learning activities at SMAN 7 Rejang Lebong to stall. The students are currently on vacation for a while.

Zaharman suffered severe injuries to his right eye due to being sampled by AJ. AJ's eye was declared blind by the doctor who carried out the examination.
