2 Skull Paths In Cianjur Eat 10 Victims In The Last 7 Months

JABAR - Police recorded 10 people died in an accident in two skull lanes or prone to accidents in Cianjur Regency in the January-July 2023 period.

Kasatlantas Cianjur Police AKP Anaga Budiharso said the two routes, namely Jalan Raya Cianjur-Sukabumi, to be precise, Gekbrong District and Jalan Raya Bandung-Cianjur starting from Karangtengah to Haurwangi.

"So far, there are three lanes known as laka-prone lanes or skulls, the Puncak-Cianjur, Sukabumi-Cianjur and Bandung-Cianjur lines, but the number of accidents on the Puncak route has been suppressed since the last year," he said in Cianjur, West Java (West Java), Friday, August 4, confiscated by Antara.

Most of the accident victims in the skull lane were motorbike riders and brake trucks failed because the condition of the road on the two lanes decreased and climbed sharply and the condition of the straight road which was more than 8 kilometers so that the driver was less alert.

It was recorded that from January to June 2023, there were 15 cases of accidents that caused 10 victims to die, 7 of which occurred on the Bandung-Cianjur route and 5 people died on the Sukabumi-Cianjur Line.

"The high number of accidents on the route makes us add a number of signs and places members when a crowded vehicle passes to urge motorists to remain careful and vigilant when passing," he said.

Drivers are also advised to follow traffic rules by prioritizing safety instead of speed because it can cause accidents that lead to loss of life, especially motorcycle riders and large transportation such as trucks.
