BENGKULU - The Bengkulu Provincial DPRD asked law enforcement officials to take firm action against cases of student guardian abuse that attach teachers in Rejang Lebong Regency. Therefore, he asked the school and the Bengkulu Province Education and Culture Office (Dikbud) to the law enforcement apparatus.," said Edwar.

Previously, one of the sports teachers at SMA Negeri 7 Rejang Lebong Zaharman (58) was abused by the student's guardian after the victim reprimanded the student for smoking in the school environment. Then took action against the student who smoked, but the student with the initials PDM (16) then went home and called his parents. Then the student's parents with the initials AJ came to SMAN 7 Rejang Lebong and said the security guard if his child was beaten by the victim, then this security guard tried to break up the perpetrator who at that time took out the knife and catapult immediately entered the school. After meeting the victim Zaharman immediately pointed the catapult at the victim and hit the victim's eye on the right side of the victim. Seeing the victim's bleeding immediately ran out of school. Meanwhile, the victim had to be rushed to the AR Bunda Hospital in Lubuk Linggau City, South Sumatra, to undergo treatment due to serious injuries to the eye.
