The West Aceh Police confiscated at least nine packs of marijuana, while arresting a man with the initials ZAM (46 years), a resident of Peulantau Village (Gampong), Bubon District, West Aceh Regency.

"We have arrested this drug dealer suspect in the Blang Sibeutong Village area, Bubon District, West Aceh Regency," said West Aceh Police Chief AKBP Andi Kirana accompanied by Narcotics Head AKP Erwo Guntoro in Meulaboh as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 3.

He said the suspect ZAM was arrested after the police received information from the public that in Blang Sibeutong Village/Gampong, Bubon District, West Aceh Regency there would be narcotics transactions.

Officers then carried out reconnaissance at the intended location, and suspected that a man would carry out marijuana sales transactions.

Without taking long, the police then arrested a man with the initials ZAM and found nine packs of marijuana.

From the suspect's hands, the police also secured a cell phone that was allegedly used as a means of communication to sell marijuana.
