According to him, the Ambon Basarnas command center received information last Wednesday at around 19:06 WIT from a member of the Maluku Police Polairud named Yasir who said a resident was dragged by the waves at the Natsepa Beach tourist attraction, Suli Country, Salahutu District (Ambon Island) Central Maluku Regency.
Receiving this information, at 19:21 WIT, a Rescue Basarnas Ambon team was deployed to the scene to carry out SAR Operations with a distance of approximately 22 km northeast of the Ambon SAR Office.

The incident began at around 17:00 WIT, the victim was found to have swam with several of his friends on Natsepa Beach but suddenly they were hit by the waves.
