JAKARTA - Joint officers disciplined dozens of stalls for street vendors (PKL) on Jalan Kali Baru Barat, Utan Panjang Village, Kemayoran on Wednesday, August 2.

In addition to controlling street vendors, joint officers also carried out an operation to remove the pentile (OCP) against a number of motorbikes parked on the shoulder of the road.

"Earlier we transported dozens of stalls belonging to street vendors who were left behind. The traders used to sell at night," said Head of Satpol PP Kemayoran District, Asmar when confirmed, Wednesday, August 2.

Asmar said this control was carried out because traders were selling on roads and sidewalks. There were 10 street vendors that were successfully transported by officers.

"One truck that we deployed to transport street vendors. All stalls that were successfully transported were immediately taken to Cakung Warehouse, East Jakarta, a warehouse belonging to the Satpol PP," he said.

In addition to controlling street vendors, a number of two-wheeled vehicles were subject to the operation to remove the pentile (OCP). In the future, his party will patrol to prevent street vendors and illegal parking.

"We will do prevention with patrols so that traders do not sell on roads and sidewalks," he said.
