Just Because Of Parking, Youth In Sukabumi Was Beaten And The Car Was Damaged

SUKABUMI - Police personnel from the Criminal and Investigation Unit (Reskrim) of the Cikole Police, Sukabumi City Resort arrested four youths who were involved in acts of persecution and car destruction in Cikole District, Sukabumi City, West Java.

"The four suspects, namely AA (20), SS (21) were arrested in the Ciaul area, Cikole District while HA (19) and RMR (18) were arrested in the Cisaat District, Sukabumi Regency on Monday," said Cikole Police Chief AKP Cepi Hermawan, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 1.

According to information gathered from the Cikole Police, the case of mistreatment of the victim known as Thoriq Ashidiq (27), a resident of Ciaul, Cikole District began when the victim on Sunday night ate porridge on Jalan Suryakencana, Cikole District.

However, when he was about to go home, the car the victim was riding was blocked by the suspect's motorbike. Without thinking negatively, Thoriq asked the suspect to temporarily move the motorcycle of the alleged perpetrator of the persecution.

The victim, who was not suspicious, then drove his vehicle to return to his house. However, it turned out that the perpetrators followed Thoriq and when he was about to park his car near his house, precisely on Ciaulbaru Street, Subangjaya Village, the victim was immediately beaten by a number of youths.

As a result of the beating, the victim suffered injuries to his lips and temples and bleeding. Not satisfied to persecute Thoriq, the young men with joint guts then damaged Junaedi's Nissan Terrano car parked behind the Ciaul Health Center, as a result, the windshield was broken.

According to Cepi, this act of persecution and destruction was allegedly carried out by dozens of youths and his party had identified the perpetrators who were still at large.

Meanwhile, the four suspects who have just been arrested are still being questioned by Cikole Police investigators regarding the abuse and destruction.

"For the other suspected perpetrators, we have identified them and are pursuing them. We ask for prayers and support from all parties so that these other perpetrators can be caught immediately," added Cepi.

On the other hand, preventing similar incidents of the Cikole Police are aggressively carrying out enhanced routine activities (KRYD) and traveling patrols to locations prone to criminal acts.

He also appealed to everyone to increase supervision of their children's activities and not to allow them to leave the house after 22.00 WIB if there are no important things or urge them to anticipate doing negative things or join groups that have the potential to commit criminal acts.
