The Kaur District Attorney, Bengkulu, named four suspects in the alleged corruption case of the Kaur Health Operational Assistance (BOK) Fund for the Health Office in 2022, namely the Head of the Kaur DA District Health Office, the Secretary of the Kaur GU Health Office, the Head of the North Kaur Health Center and the Head of the Central Kaur Health Center, namely PU.

Head of the Kaur District Attorney's Office, Muhammad Yunus, said the alleged criminal act in this case was related to a discount of two percent of the DA suspect, Head of the Health Service.

As a result of the two percent cut in funds, the puskesmas carried out fictitious activities such as activities that were concurrently used as one activity. According to Yunus, state financial losses reached Rp. 310 million.

"From the investigation that has been carried out, it is known that there has been a two percent cut by the suspect DA in each 2022 BOK Fund disbursement." he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 31.

Previously, the Attorney General's Office and the Kaur District Attorney's Investigation Team arrested three perpetrators in connection with a corruption case on Friday (28) at a fast food restaurant in the South Jakarta area.

The three perpetrators, namely BSS, AH and RNS, received Rp920 million as evidence and the money allegedly came from a number of heads of health centers who received assistance from the 2022 Health Operational Assistance funds.

The money was given by witnesses to one of the perpetrators with the hope that the investigation process being carried out by the Kaur Kejari against the alleged corruption of BOK funds could be stopped. During the arrest, the prosecutor's team confiscated evidence in the form of cellphones, proof of transfer, receipts, and many more.

The arrest of the perpetrator was due to obstructing the investigation into alleged corruption over the implementation and management of BOK funds at 16 Puskesmas in Kaur Regency for Fiscal Year 2022.
