Kaltara Provincial Government Builds ASN Housing In Mandiri New City

TARAKAN - The Provincial Government of North Kalimantan will build housing for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) serving within the North Kalimantan Provincial Government in the development of the Independent New City Government Center (KBM).

"So we will lay the groundwork for the construction of ASN housing in early 2024," said Head of the Public Works for the Spatial Planning and Settlement Areas (PUPR Perkim) of Kaltara Helmi Province in Tanjung Selor, Bulungan, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 26.

Unlike other housing, which is mostly built by the private sector, the construction of ASN houses will be handled by cooperatives, making it easier.

"This housing is only reserved for North Kalimantan ASN, while others such as district/city civil servants cannot, as well as non-permanent employees (PTT)," said Helmi.

He explained that the land prepared for the construction of this ASN housing is around 42 hectares.

"The land already exists, maturation is again carried out with an area of 42 hectares," he said.

He said the ASN housing would be equipped with various facilities until later the housing would become an elite area, including sports facilities, markets, schools to places of worship.

"We designed it with a satellite city system, each person will get 10 X 16 meters of land at a price of around Rp. 100 million to Rp. 200 million," he said.
