PeKANBARU - Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Riau Police are hunting for the perpetrators of the owner of 70,800 lobster seeds packaged in 13 styrofoam boxes that were secured from two perpetrators of smuggling from Jambi and will be taken abroad.

The Head of Inhil Police, AKBP Norhayat, said that there were five perpetrators of the smuggling who had different roles. FD and RJ who were arrested acted as car drivers and transport workers.

"Meanwhile, the other three who are still at large are the owner of lobster seeds and two drivers who managed to carry six boxes of lobster seeds using speedboats," said the Police Chief as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 24.

Previously, two smugglers were arrested in Sungai Dusun Village, Batang Tuaka District, last Wednesday (19/7), at around 19.30 WIB. Meanwhile, three other people, namely AR, the owner of lobster and WE and AD, are still at large.

The arrest of the perpetrator of the lobster seed smuggling began with an examination at the scene of the case. There it was found that there were lobster seeds in the Styrofoam box that were brought by car from Jambi City.

Previously, six boxes of Styrofoam lobster seeds had already been loaded and carried using a speedboat of 40 PK by two DPOs. The Speedboat is ready to wait at the port.

The evidence that was secured in the arrest were 13 boxes containing lobster seeds, a white Toyota Fortuner car, a STNKB sheet and a cell phone unit.
