Ridwan Kamil: Biskita Trans Pakuan Becomes The Transportation Of The Jabodebek LRT

BOGOR - Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil announced that the Biskita Trans Pakuan bus with the rapid transit (BRT) bus program is a feeder for the Jabodebek Light Rail Transit (LRT).

Ridwan Kamil said the operation of Biskita Trans Pakuan as a feeder transportation started from the joint initiative of four regions, Depok City, Bogor City, Bekasi, Bekasi Regency and Bogor Regency.

"This is the commitment of the West Java Government to smooth the economy, especially in the Jabodetabek agglomeration, Jakarta, Banten, West Java. At least we maximize it in West Java, so that residents can smoothly go to Jakarta. But the LRT takes the bus we feder in the five regions," Ridwan Kamil reported by ANTARA, Friday, July 21.

He hopes that in the coming years more people will convert transportation modes for activities that usually take public transportation to switch to using Biskita Trans Pakuan.

"Considering now choosing a private vehicle, maybe because there is no adequate choice," said Kang Emil.

Biskita Trans Pakuan is a bus subsidized with a buy the service (BTS) system from the Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ) of the Ministry of Transportation.

The existence of the Biskita Trans Pakuan bus in Bogor City to start converting city public transportation (angkot) 3:1. The operations of thousands of angkots in the center of Bogor City were stopped gradually and replaced with Biskita Trans Pakuan buses. Meanwhile, angkots are still serving the community in border areas.

Bogor Mayor Bima Arya welcomed the Biskita Trans Pakuan bus as a feeder bus for the Jabodebek LRT which was immediately collaborated by the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil.

"This is a form of collaboration between cities in West Java at the end of the position of Governor of West Java," he said.
