JAKARTA - The theft was carried out by sliding a bag at a coffee cafe in the Blok M mall area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Salasa, July 18, 13.52 WIB. The victim with the initials D suffered losses of tens of millions of rupiah.

Dwi said that the incident began when the victim and several of his co-workers were holding a meeting. Suddenly there was a loud sound, but he didn't heed it.

"It turned out that at that time it was only a minute difference from the noise, I was immediately shocked, how come my bag wasn't there. Suddenly it disappeared," said Dwi when confirmed, Thursday, July 20.

After finding out his bag was missing, he immediately checked his car. Because, the missing bag also contains the vehicle keys.

"I immediately checked my vehicle, because in the bag there was a car key as well. My friend immediately asked for coordination with management building, the same and cafe management to check from CCTV," he said.

Furthermore, after seeing the CCTV footage, it turned out that it was clear that the perpetrator had shifted the victim's bag. When the victim was caught off guard, the perpetrator immediately took the items he was aiming for.

The victim has reported the theft to the Kebayoran Baru Police, South Jakarta, with the number LP/B/369/VII/2023/SPKT/Polsek Metro Kebayoran Baru/Polres Metro South Jakarta/Polda Metro Jaya dated July 19, 2023.

Contacted separately, Kebayoran Baru Police Chief Kompol Tribuana Roseno confirmed the incident. He has also received a police report, his plan is for Friday, July 21, his party will ask for information from the victim.

"The victim will only be questioned at noon," said Roseno.

In addition, he has also checked at the crime scene (TKP) and CCTV during the theft of the bag sliding incident. As a result, his party has pocketed the face of the alleged perpetrator.
