Had A Difficulty, Central Jakarta Firefighters Managed To Put Out The Fire At The Senen Area Restaurant

The fire that hit residential areas and businesses on Jalan Kramat Pulo Raya, RT 01/03, Kramat Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta has finally been extinguished. The fire was extinguished at around 15:24 WIB.

The fire extinguishing process was carried out by 9 fire engines that were deployed to the location. Meanwhile, 45 officers were deployed.

"Currently the fire has been extinguished. The number of objects burned is still being collected," said Head of Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Asril Rizal when confirmed by VOI, Monday, July 10.

Meanwhile, from the testimony of an eyewitness named Ayu (35), a local resident, the fire started with the appearance of a fire at the chicken pecel shop owned by the mother.

"Initially the fire came out, it seemed like she was cooking the mother. At first the fire was small but it took a long time to grow. Maybe because the building was mostly wood that spreads over it quickly. Suddenly the fire went up. There was an explosion, there was a gas sound," said Ayu.

Ayu said, there were twice the sound of explosions allegedly from gas cylinders from pecel mamak stalls and chicken noodle meatball stalls.

"In the stall, mother is very happy (the sound of an explosion). In the meatball shop there was (an explosion). Next door was the chicken noodle meatball maker, if this (on the right) was the resident's house, then the fire went straight back. Because behind (the house) was hit," he said.

Furthermore, Ayu said, outage cars that arrived at the location also experienced delays.

"Blanwir took a long time too, the fire spread out quickly. Because it's the wind, what I'm afraid of is just electricity. The fire was really fast because the wind was just big again," he said.

Previously, it was reported that about 10 houses on Jalan Kramat Pulo Raya 4, RT 01/03, Senen District, Central Jakarta, were burned to the ground on Monday, July 10. The fire broke out at around 14.00 WIB.
