Akbar Tandjung Motimates Golkar Cadres In South Kalimantan

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the Golkar Party H Akbar Tandjung motivated cadres of political parties bearing the banyan tree in South Kalimantan Province (Kalsel) to face the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

The former chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives and the State Minister of Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia gave motivation during the meeting of the South Kalimantan Golkar Party cadres at the Regional Leadership Council Secretariat (DPD) of the South Kalimantan Golkar Party, Banjarmasin, Sunday 9 July.

Akbar has a lot of life experiences or organization, among others, is always optimistic without neglecting work.

The former chairman of the Executive Board of the Islamic Student Association (PB HMI) hopes that the cadres of the South Kalimantan Golkar Party can listen and become his experience as an important note to win the 2024 General Election.

"God willing, by listening to the biodata and past experiences, the Golkar Party will return to glory, including in South Kalimantan," said Akbar Tandjung, quoted from Antara.

Ending the briefing, the man who was born in North Sumatra submitted a historical record of the Golkar Party's struggle to win the 2024 General Election to the South Kalimantan Golkar Party DPD administrators as well as districts/cities throughout the province.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the South Kalimantan Golkar Party DPD H Sahbirin Noor or familiarly as Uncle Birin said that South Kalimantan's Golkar is targeting four seats from 11 seats for the Indonesian House of Representatives in the 2024 General Election.

Likewise, for the provincial DPRD, the South Kalimantan Golkar Party is targeting 14 of the 55 seats or an increase compared to the 2019 elections which won 12 seats.

In addition, Sahbirin seeks to maintain the existing rations and increase the share of DPRD seats in 13 districts/cities in South Kalimantan Province.

"Therefore, Golkar Party cadres must be united, do not fight between each other. Support each other, not encourage collapse or fall," said Sahbirin.
