Prabowo Praises President Jokowi's Leadership In Controlling The COVID-19 Pandemic

JAKARTA - Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto in front of the party cadres praised President Joko Widodo's leadership in controlling the COVID-19 pandemic for three years.

"Indonesia has been underestimated and underestimated by other nations. Many countries predict that Indonesia will collapse, and cannot cope with health, and many victims, Alhamdulillah, the fact that we are recognized by the United Nations, a country that quickly recovers from the pandemic. Because there are good leadership everywhere, we must be brave, willing and to recognize President Joko Widodo," Prabowo said at the Gerindra Party Consolidation in Depok, quoted from Antara, Sunday, July 9.

Prabowo Subianto said that during the three years the world had experienced an economic crisis, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Three years of experiencing a pandemic crisis, reducing world life and economy," said Prabowo.

The pandemic that has hit the world has had a bad impact, Prabowo Subianto said but the Indonesian government was able to rise quickly.

"We are grateful that Indonesia, including a fairly fast rise due to the pandemic," said Prabowo Subianto.

Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Gerindra Party DPC Depok Nuroji said Indonesia managed to control the pandemic for three years compared to other countries in Europe.

"It is proven that compared to other countries such as Europe, there is bankruptcy. Indonesia is still surviving the economy. Even inflation is quite low below five percent. Other countries have been affected by the pandemic," said Nuroji.

The man who is also a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives said that the Indonesian government led by Joko Widodo has its own unique way of controlling the pandemic.

"Pak Prabowo Subianto really salutes (with President Joko Widodo) in controlling the pandemic and the economy strategically so as not to slammed the Indonesian economy. The pandemic ended smoothly," said Nuroji.
