A busker suspected of sending threats to bomb the Kudus Police, has now been arrested by police in Semarang City, Central Java.

Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol.Johanson Simamora in Semarang, Saturday, confirmed the terror report that was followed up by the Kudus Police Satreskrim.

"The perpetrator conveyed threats by telephone and short messages from WhatsApp," he said, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, July 8.

According to him, the perpetrator WU (29), a resident of Jekulo, Kudus Regency, was arrested while riding a Trans Semarang Bus on Jalan Pemuda, Semarang City.

From the results of the examination, he said, the perpetrator admitted to leaving Kudus for Semarang to sing.

When he arrived in Semarang, the perpetrator then conducted a search on the internet using a cell phone before finally obtaining the Kudus Police SPKT Alert Number.

He explained that the perpetrator had sent a message that a robbery had occurred at a modern shop.

"The perpetrator then returned to send a message containing which would bomb the Kudus Police," he explained.

"Then the perpetrator contacted the number and said he would come to the Kudus Police to bomb," he said.

During the interim examination, he continued, the perpetrator admitted that he was just playing with the threat.

Johanson said the perpetrators were still being investigated intensively to determine further legal remedies.
