Results Of Selection Of Village Apparatus In Kudus Tuai 45 Lawsuits, 5 Revoked After Mediation With Judges

The lawsuit on the results of the village selection test in 5 villages in Kudus Regency, Central Java, was revoked. The five plaintiffs decided to withdraw it after mediation with the mediator of the Kudus District Court (PN) judges.

"Everything came from Undaan District, among others, from Undaan Kidul Village, Ngemplak Village, Karangrowo Village, Glagahwaru Village, and Connect Village," said Public Relations of Kudus District Court Rudi Hartanto in Kudus, Friday 7 July, confiscated by Antara.

Rudi said that those who acted as mediators were judges of the Kudus Ziyad District Court. After mediation, a written peace agreement was made on June 14, 2023.

For the next time, a peace certificate was issued in the trial decision at the Kudus District Court dated July 5, 2023.

The five plaintiffs who agreed to peace were Muhammad Abdurozaq as Chair of the Undaan Kidul Village Apparatus Filling Committee, Suyanto as Chair of the Ngemplak Village Apparatus Filling Committee, Mochammad Sujud as Chair of the Karangrowo Village Apparatus Filling Committee, Karjin as Chair of the Glagahwaru Village Apparatus Filling Committee, and Moh Sholehan as Chair of the Sambung Village Apparatus Filling Committee.

Meanwhile, there are 40 other plaintiffs who are still continuing the trial which has taken place several times without involving the five plaintiffs who have declared peace.

Based on the provisions of the peace agreement, the five plaintiffs received and did not object to the explanation from the defendant regarding the results of the village selection test, especially Undaan Kidul Village, Ngemplak, Karangrowo, Glagahwaru, and Sambung Village.

In addition, the five of them also did not object to the final results of the village selection test in the five villages. They also agreed not to mind the final results of the selection test for village officials in their respective villages.

For this peace, the Panel of Judges of the Kudus District Court tried the case by deciding the five plaintiffs by strengthening the peace agreement in the peace deed. The Kudus District Court continues to examine the a quo case while still involving the plaintiffs other than the five plaintiffs.

Muhammad Abdurozaq as Chair of the Undaan Kidul Village Apparatus Filling Committee, as one of the plaintiffs confirmed a peace agreement with the defendant so that his party accepted and did not object to the explanation from the defendant and accepted the final results of the village selection test in Undaan Kidul Village.

To note, the defendant is Widya Setiabudi Sumadinata as the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Padjadjaran University (Unpad) Bandung.

In the selection for filling village officials, Unpad as the third party was appointed as the organizer of the village selection test. There were 50 people who were also selection participants who passed as intervention defendants.
