Indramayu Police Deploy 600 Personnel To Secure Mass Demonstration At Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School

JABAR - The Indramayu Resort Police (Polres) deployed 600 personnel to secure demonstrations at the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes). Demonstrations were held by the Indonesian Students and People's Alliance (ASRI).

"This time we deployed 600 personnel to secure the demonstration," said Indramayu Police Chief AKBP Fahri Siregar in Indramayu, Thursday, July 6, confiscated by Antara.

Fahri asked all elements of society to hold demonstrations to remain orderly, and not to let anything unwanted happen.

For this reason, Fahri continued, his party has carried out a mapping where the forced action can carry out an oration, because it is impossible to be allowed to face the residents of Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School.

He explained that from the experience of several demonstrations, the officers had determined the distance allowed for them to operate, and it was confirmed that it was in accordance with the operation of the procedure (SOP).

"We have determined where the action period is, and the allowed points are still the same as the previous actions," he said.

Today, Thursday, July 6, ASRI's 1,000 people held a demonstration in front of Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School.

The police carried out blocking at several road points leading to the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School so that no intruders joined to try to make the demonstration not run conducively.

"The partition was carried out so that demonstrations were not entered by other mass demonstrations. We hope that this demonstration will run safely," he said.
