The National Police Bareskrin believes that there is a criminal offense involving the head of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, Panji Gumilang. In fact, from the results of the case title, it was decided to increase the status of the alleged blasphemy case to the investigation stage.

"The conclusion of the title of the case is that this case from an investigation is raised to an investigation," said the Director of General Crime Investigations at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo, Monday, July 3, evening.

The belief in a criminal offense is based on information given by Panji Gumilang. Originally, the head of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School was examined for 9 hours.

In addition, the investigator's belief is also based on the statements of four witnesses and five experts. Then, some of the evidence that has been pocketed during the investigation process.

"This is enough for us to believe that there is a criminal act," continued Djuhandhani.

However, Djuhandhani was reluctant to comment much on this matter. He only conveyed that the collection of evidence would continue.
