SURABAYA - The East Java Provincial Government (Pemprov Jatim) sent disaster emergency assistance to Pacitan Regency which was affected by an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 on Friday (30/6) night.
East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa explained that the earthquake centered in Yogyakarta also hit Pacitan, Trenggalek, Ponorogo, Tulungagung, and Blitar Regencies.

"Alhamdulillah, there were no casualties from this incident," he said.
The East Java Provincial Government sent 150 food packages and 100 tarpaulins to Pacitan Regency.
Governor Khofifah said the total impact of damage in all districts including Pacitan reached 32 lightly damaged houses, 20 moderately damaged houses, 5 heavily damaged houses, 9 lightly damaged public facilities, 3 lightly damaged business units, 1 heavily damaged business unit, and 1 warehouse unit damaged.
"Actually, in each BPBD, each district already has tarpaulins, but the current delivery of aid is initial assistance for disaster emergencies so that people can be facilitated," he said.
