MEKKAH - All Indonesian pilgrims who took nafar Tsani moved away from Mina after staying (mabit) until the third tasyrik day, 13 Zulhijah 1444 H or July 1, 2023.

The return of the pilgrims from Mina to the hotel in Mecca is divided into two choices, namely early nafar and nafar tsani.

Early Nafar was the choice to leave Mina and return to Mecca on 12 Zulhijah.

The initial nafar pilgrims had to leave Mina on the second tasyrik day before sunset. While nafar tsani, the choice to leave Mina on 13 Zulhijah.

"Our data shows that the initial number of pilgrims is more than 156,000 people or around 74 percent," said Head of Saudi Arabia's Hajj Organizing Officer (PPIH) 1444 H Subhan Cholid, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, July 1.

He explained that 13 Zulhijah or the third tasyrik day marked the end of the peak phase of Hajj in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina, all Indonesian pilgrims left Mina.

The peak of Hajj in Armina, said Subhan, is one of the phases of organizing the pilgrimage, the process of preparing its services is Mashariq's responsibility.

PPIH Saudi Arabia noted that there were a number of problems experienced by pilgrims in this phase, ranging from delays in the departure of some pilgrims from Muzdalifah to Mina, consumption delays in a number of activities, as well as clean water problems in several tents of Indonesian pilgrims.

"We have submitted a protest to Mashariq as the person in charge of preparing this service. An investigation is currently underway," he said.

After the peak phase of the Hajj, Indonesian pilgrims returned to Mecca to carry out the next stage, tawaf ifadah at the Grand Mosque. The concentration of activities of Indonesian pilgrims is now back at the hotel of Mecca and the Grand Mosque.

"The congregation should rest first upon arrival in Mecca, not in a hurry, tawaf ifadah, especially the congregation whose stay period in Mecca is still long. The Shalawat bus that will take the new congregation will operate from 14 Zulhijah or 2 July 2023," said Subhan.

Indonesian pilgrims departing in the first wave will gradually return to their homeland starting July 4, 2023. They will fly to their respective embarkations through King Abdil Aziz International Airport, Jeddah.

"The baggage balance process will be carried out two days before the return schedule. The congregation must comply with the provisions of flight baggage items issued by the airline," said Subhan.

For the second batch of pilgrims, they will begin to depart for Medina on July 10, 2023. They will stay for eight or nine days in Nabawi City before returning to the country.

"The second batch of pilgrims will return to their homeland starting July 19, 2023 through Amir Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz Airport, Medina," he said.
